Carol Rock

With over 25 years of theater experience and even more as a preservationist, Carol is thrilled to serve on the Raising the Curtain Foundation board and support the historic Newhall Family Theatre. She is an award-winning actress with experience onstage and in the wings of more than 35 productions. She emcees the annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival and has served on the Canyon Theatre Guild, the REP, and the Santa Clarita Shakespeare Festival boards. Carol is a writer, editor, and award-winning journalist, working with LA area print, radio, and local TV media and earning recognition for investigative reporting as well as coverage of the arts, health, and lifestyle. She currently serves as the President of the Santa Clarita Valley Scholarship Foundation and works for the SCV Historical Society as their Marketing Director and Office Manager.
