Wicked Masterclass & Performance
Our "Journey Through Wicked" event, held at the Newhall Family Theatre, was a dazzling success, immersing our community in the world of Broadway. Over the course of two days, participants had the rare opportunity to engage directly with Broadway talents Jenny DiNoia and Paul Peglar. The event kicked off with an intimate masterclass, followed by a comprehensive Wicked-themed workshop, culminating in a performance showcase that brought the magic of the musical to life. This series not only showcased the incredible skills of young performers but also served as a fundraiser to make performing arts more accessible within our community. The support and enthusiasm from attendees have been overwhelming, helping us to foster a vibrant future for the arts.
Saturday's Kids
Saturday's Kids at Newhall Family Theatre, directed by Donna M. Manfredi, was a captivating event for school-aged children. Featuring lively performances of 'The Frog Prince' and 'Stone Soup' by adult actors, followed by themed crafts, it provided a fun and creative introduction to live theater. A Celebration of the Performing Arts
At the annual 'A Celebration of the Performing Arts' event at Newhall Family Theatre, children in grades 4-6 delved into the exciting world of theater. In collaboration with the Newhall School District, they explored various aspects of theatrical production, from directing to set design and costumes, guided by knowledgeable local volunteers.
