About The Event
At Newhall Family Theatre's annual 'A Celebration of the Performing Arts' event, in collaboration with the Newhall School District, children in grades 4-6 had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of theater. Guided by local volunteers with expertise in various fields, they learned about the creative process, encompassing directing, set design, props, costumes, makeup, lighting, and sound. These short, interactive sessions not only educated but also inspired these young minds in the performing arts. Participants who completed the series were rewarded with a small gift and had the opportunity for follow-up questions, further nurturing their growing interest in theater.
